Insanity-Loid (狂気 - ロイド), a combination of the terminology Insanity and Vocaloid, pertains to fanmade Vocaloids representing evil, hostility, or depression.

Insanity Vocaloids are known for their insane or, almost, yandere-like tendencies. Most fanmade characters yield weapons as their character item of choice. Insanity Vocaloids tend to have a ghostly pale complexion and an immense craving for blood. Some of the fanmade characters wear dark clothing and are even made to look depressed and somewhat creepy in nature.

Insanity Vocaloids were first introduced on February 23, 2015. The first official Insanity-Loids, Kanashimi Min/Ten, being introduced on December 25, 2014.
